The International Student Professional Mentor Program is an innovative new opportunity for University of Minnesota International Sophomores.
This program pairs a Career Services-led 9-session seminar on decision-making and planning for the post-undergraduate future (Career in the U.S.?, Graduate school?, Return home?, Career in a third country?) and placement with a mentor who was once an international student at the University of Minnesota.
Students will be able to test the ideas they develop during the seminar with their mentors, learn from their mentor’s experience, and begin to broaden the professional network that will support them in their post-undergraduate endeavors.
Offered both fall and spring semesters, sophomores from all colleges are welcome. Program enrollment is limited and is by application only. Contact Michele Moylan (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
